My name is Rachel Delahaye.
I’ve been a freelance journalist for over 10 years, and for five of those I’ve also been a parenting journalist. It wasn’t my idea. Get a bump the size of Belgium and suddenly people (editors included) think it’s all you want to think, read, write about. Ironically, I don’t. More ironically I have started this blog to write about the fact that I don’t want to always think, read and write about parenting – and somewhat absurdly it has a distinctly parenting slant.
This blog is an outlet for my compulsive writing, a recepticle for my verbal squits, a haven for my verbosity - an assylum from the editor's red pen.
