Not much posting at the moment. I'm busy having mother-daughter time - that's MY mother, with ME being the daughter. If it was 'quality time' with me as the mother, then it would probably comprise playing Woofy Woof goes to the Vet Hospital or feeding $2 coins into a rip-off supermarket ride fashioned as a Wiggles Adventure or something. No, this time, my mother is taking me out for coffee and pastries and decadent visits to the Clinique consultation chair - the stuff I normally slam vacuous 'do lunchers' for. And I'm loving the hyprocrisy. Anyway, in place of a decent post, here's a bloody good song called 'Daughter'. The lyrics are just lovely.
That's great, Rachel. Enjoy your time while you can. I miss my Mum. And yes, my mother-dauther time with my own daugher is taken up with her saying "can I play on your phone?" so it's not quite the same. Enjoy the vacuous time at the Chinese lady and eating pastries afterwards. You deserve it!
